About Department:
Core subjects like Basic Science, Basic Mathematics & English which are compulsory in the first semester for all programs. While subjects like Applied Science, Applied Mathematics & Professional Communication are compulsory in the second semester. The Science Department includes two separate laboratories for Physics & Chemistry subjects and one Language Laboratory for the English subject. All Laboratories are well -equipped for performing various practicals as per MSBTE curriculum.
The Faculty of the department is dedicated and hard working. They all have more than 15 years of experience. They have developed learning materials for first-year students and have been contributing to various activities of MSBTE.
Our faculty always motivate and guide students to participate in various activities organized in-house or by some other institutes. Some students have scored 100 out of 100 marks in Mathematics subject in the MSBTE examinations. Overall results of first-year students are excellent every year. The department organizes Parents Meet twice every year to interact with them about the progress and development of their wards. Besides this, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like Guest lectures and Industrial Visits are organized every year for overall development of students.
